Ao3 Weirdness, anyone notice this?

So do the italics on AO3 look strange to anyone else recently?  Like, the spacing is off and some letters look like they're on top of each other and others are too far apart?  I use the default skin, but it happens with all the others that use whatever sans serif font they use (Arial? I don't know my fonts very well).  It doesn't happen with a skin with a serif font.  It's not my browser (Firefox updated days before this happened and I never changed font sizes or anything).

I emailed the support team last night and they were having trouble reproducing the effect.  It's most noticeable in full sentences of italicized text.  I would put up screenshots (which I sent to the support team), but I'm not comfortable doing that with someone else's work (and my own doesn't have full sentences of italics).

Anyone else see this at all?  Or is something on my end fucked?

ETA: They're working on it.  The 'Chained Melody' skin uses a different font and doesn't have this problem.

Seriously, I've notice they've been a bit off in a few things I've read recently, but I thought that was probably coding issues on the author/poster's part. Also, I generally have everything enlarged on my browser (Firefox control+, you know?) and that can mess stuff up.

I will pay more attention.

Eventually posting something. It's in beta, and then it will probably need some work. (If you want to read an advance copy and give me your opinion on the ending, I'll add you on the list in my Google docs; it's in a kind of second draft state and there's still something off/ missing/ too abrupt/ saccharine about it)

I thought coding issues at first, but then I kept seeing it and I'm kind of autistic about that sort of thing (it makes my eyeballs itch), and so I looked at my fic over there, which I know was right because I went over it obsessively after my links didn't lead anywhere, and lo, it was not good.

I have since heard back from them and they've sent it on to see if they can track down the error. The problem doesn't seem to occur while using the 'Chained Melody' skin.
